Designed exclusively with the Middle East’s number 1 shopping destinations, the ‘Monica’ sunglass was the creation of Cutler and Gross Head of Artistic Direction, Monica Chong. An overtly feminine, cat-eye shape with unique 180 turned reverse gradient lenses, the ‘Monica’ style was realised by Chong for a need to personalise her own glasses.
Originally a contemporary evening wear designer at her name sake brand, Chong’s bespoke frames have stirred much public interested. A chance meeting with Bridget Cosgrave, Fashion & Buying Director at Boutique 1, triggered the start of an exciting partnership between the brands.
Created in Italian acetate, with intricate star pins and hand milled detailing, the ‘Monica’ sunglass offers our signature handmade craftsmanship.
